So there we are, Friday afternoon already (a little past 1pm as I'm typing), and I knew these last three days would pass by in the wink of an eye. But I'll sincererly say that it was just the right amount for missing my boys (!!), doing some of the things I wanted to do, letting myself do nothing in particular (!), enjoying the silence (yes) & feeling calmer. (yes, these little creatures that we call "children", may be as sweet as can be, but can make your blood pressure go up, yes, I swear)
Here's a sneak peek of what I've been working on these last days. (and that will be part of the next shop update)
I've re-discovered the joy & pleasure of hand-sewing, (hand-) embroidering, it felt like it had been ages since I last did these all.
On a different subject now ... if you are on P*nterest (& actually pin) or if you already have seen some of your photos pinned on P*nterest, I think it is REALLY interesting (and not that pleasant in the end) for you to read these articles:
- P*nterest.com & Copyright
- More thoughts on P*nterest
- Pin Etiquette
- How does P*nterest generate revenue ?
I bet there are lots of things you didn't even know about. I stopped pinning shortly after starting. After seeing some of my photos, first used on T*mblrs (without any credit of course), then pinned from these T*mblrs (therefore with NO link back to MY own site, or not a mention of my name or site name), I've started feeling angry & not that OK with the whole P*nterest thing. I've come to the point that I wish it had never been invented. And I've come to question myself about using my photos on my blog or on Flickr, since anyone can pin these, and that these photos are copied on P*nterest servers. I'd love to brush these off my mind, but I think that from the start, these boards should have been private. You pin for yourself, after all, not for everyone to see.
Have a carefree, strees-free & lovely weekend, everyone, thank you very much for stopping by.
xoxo
